Power Vision Educational and Welfare Society, established in 2009 in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, is dedicated to advancing computer education as part of its mission to promote digital literacy. The organization offers a range of short-term and long-term skill development programs aimed at empowering the younger generation. Through these initiatives, Power Vision strives to foster growth, enhance employability, and contribute to the overall welfare of society by equipping individuals with essential technological skills.
Saleem Ahmad: A Visionary in Digital Education
Saleem Ahmad, hold an MBA in International Business Management from Integral university and started Power Vision with just one employee and a handful of students, driven by the mission to spread digital education across Lucknow.
The Beginning: Spreading Digital Literacy in Old Lucknow
Initially, my focus was on Old Lucknow, where digital literacy was almost nonexistent. To address this challenge, I launched a door-to-door awareness campaign, starting with only two students. Over the years, through persistent efforts and community engagement, we were able to serve more than 100 students.
Growing Awareness and Impact
As awareness grew, more families began sending their children to learn digital skills. Today, Power Vision has trained over 10,000 students, many of whom have been successfully placed in various multinational corporations (MNCs) and local companies.
Prestigious Achievements of Power Vision
Power Vision has been honored with several prestigious accolades for its excellence in the field of education:
- SKOCH Award: Received twice consecutively in 2017 and 2018 from the esteemed SKOCH Group, recognizing the organization’s impactful initiatives.
- Best Performer Appreciation Award: Conferred by CSC Academy E-Governance of India in 2021 for its outstanding contributions and achievements in the field of education.
Mission
Our mission is to empower individuals with the technical skills needed for success in today’s competitive job market. We focus on providing opportunities for unemployed students who face challenges in securing jobs due to a lack of technical education. Through our training programs, we prepare them to become industry-ready professionals.
